Wildlife
First off, several people have seen
coyotes (North Dodson East) and a fox (backyards around Ira) in
Edgewood. There is not a lot you can do about this, but you should be
alert and aware that they prey on other animals, so keep a close eye on
your dog or cat if they are outside. Do not feed other wildlife such as
the geese; if you attract the geese, you are attracting the coyotes.
Composting
Also,
if you are composting, it is recommended that you not put leftover food
from your house in the compost, as this attracts skunks, mice etc,
which attract coyotes and foxes.
Homes for Sale
Maintaining our yards and homes and keeping them free
of debris will add to the looks of the neighborhood, along with the
property values of those houses that are selling.
